今年是猪年，看到市面上贩售的金猪，自然就联想到家里的那只可爱的猪扑满，所以今天我们就来聊一聊投资和储蓄。这篇短文，不会让你突然就变得很会投资，只是帮助你厘清投资和储蓄的概念，让你在理财的道路上有更好的认知。
投资和储蓄，每个人都懂，每个人都耳熟能详。作为一个初入社会的新鲜人，笔者对这两者的认知是：投资可以带来相当可观的回酬，而储蓄却只会支付相对较低的利息，算一算，其实也和通货膨胀率（物价平均水平的上升幅度）差不多。什么概念？就是你把钱存进银行后，虽然你收到了利息，钱的数额也有所增加，最终也只是和物价上升的速度扯平，你存进银行的那笔钱，本身的价值并没有提升。
谈“理财“的时候，除了让钱为我们生钱之外，也同时避免金钱价值的流失。举个很简单的例子，今天的100令吉，和昨天的100令吉，10年前的100令吉，它们之间的价值是不一样的。以前的100令吉，你可以装满整个购物车，今天的100令吉，想都别想。这，不是国家政府的过错，而是钱的价值，是会随着时间的增加，不断贬值。
当人们意识到原来仅仅把钱握在手中，是不会产生任何价值的时候，人们就学会了资产的分配。有些人把钱拿去投资股票，房地产，债卷，亦或者之前流行一时的数字货币。而老一辈的人出于对投资工具的认识甚少，往往只选择了定存（储蓄）或者购买黄金作为资产分配。我们都知道投资有风险，储蓄无风险。我们也知道，高风险，高回酬。套用巴菲特的一句名言，“别把鸡蛋放在同一个篮子里”，做好资产分配，才是关键。
投资的概念，其实网络上一箩箩，随便搜，随便有。人人都鼓励你做投资，却极少有人告诉你要储蓄。很简单的道理，既然我们可以从投资那里获得超过储蓄的利息回酬，我们为什么还要做储蓄。在这里还是要陈清一下，笔者并不是什么银行的销售代理，只是认为人们必须要有做储蓄的意识，别把全副身家都丢下去做投资。投资和储蓄是不同的东西。
投资和储蓄，都是必要的资产分配，两者必须相辅相成。投资重视的是资金的回酬，储蓄重视的是资金的保值。储蓄是短期资金周转的必要来源，投资是长期资金的升值。因此投资的本质应该是长线的，储蓄则是短线的。这里的长线是指资金的流动性相对匮乏，短线是指资金的流动性相对充裕。简单讲，投资的资金不是你短期会用到，短期用到的资金必须是从储蓄那边来。
既然投资和储蓄都是必要的，那我们又该如何调整自己的资金分配呢？其实这取决于你对目前经济局势的判断：经济局势不好，增加储蓄的比例；经济局势大好，增加投资的比例。手持现金也是一个选项，但与其让它随着时间贬值，不如把它放进储蓄保值。也许会有人说，买债卷也好过做储蓄，债卷也提供固定利率回酬，而且利息比储蓄高，但笔者认为那其实也是在投资，存在风险。一个好的资产分配，应该同时包含无风险和有风险，才是较优方案。
以上，便是笔者对投资和储蓄的粗浅认知。
